  • Community Jazz Band

    Nigel Goss, Conductor

    Community Jazz Band offers individuals the chance to hone their group music skills. You’ll have the opportunity to perform music in an ensemble setting, and have fun doing so! The band is open to anyone with previous experience on a band instrument and/or previous participants in this program. This ensemble culminates in a live concert performance. Our group is a friendly, inclusive, adaptable environment for music lovers of all kinds.

  • Community Chorus

    Dr. Eddie Wilkin, Conductor

    NCMC Community Chorus is open to all. Under the direction of Dr. Eddie Wilkin, the Community Chorus will perform arrangements of a wide variety of music from traditional to more popular songs. This ensemble culminates in a live concert performance.

    Wednesdays, 7-9pm starting 9/20 through Stroll @ St. Paul’s Church.

  • Music & Movement / Música y Movimiento

    Ashly Akins and Sassy Nash, Teachers

    A music program for the little ones that includes songs, rhymes, and stories in English and Spanish. For kids ages infant to 5 years and their caretakers.

    Una programa de música para los niñitos incluye canciones, rimas y cuentos en inglés y español. Para niños desde bebés hasta 5 años y sus cuidadores.

  • Celtic Slow Sessions

    Graeme Durovich, Instructor

    Bring your instrument and come play tunes from Ireland, Scotland, Nova Scotia, and beyond. These sessions are welcoming and community-oriented, with the primary aim of having fun together playing uplifting music-- stress-free! We play through new tunes slowly before picking up the tempo.

    These sessions are open to folks who are comfortable playing their instrument, as instrument-specific instruction is not available. Not sure? Call the Music Center and we can connect to discuss.

  • Beginner Ukulele Drop-In

    Description goes hereIs your inner musician ready to play a fun and easy-to-learn instrument? Ukulele is perfect for those looking to jump right into the world of making music. This rewarding class will have you playing tunes on the very first day. By the end of the class sessions, you’ll be able to perform a variety of great songs.
