This June, Nantucket will come together for something special.

The Program
The program features a special appearance by Nantucket resident John Shea, narrating Aaron Copland’s A Lincoln Portrait, alongside Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations and a world premiere by Thomas Peppard.
The Boston Civic Symphony and NIYO will perform both separately and together, culminating in a shared orchestral performance.
WHY IT MATTERS
For Nantucket students, this is a rare opportunity to perform alongside professional musicians.
For the community, it is a chance to come together around something meaningful and shared.
